1. We reserve the right in order to change these terms and conditions at any time. If any changes occur we will inform you of them by a note on the home page of this website. It is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website. Order requests and emails regarding any products will be bound by the terms and conditions as published at the time of order placement.
2. All delivery and fitting prices are estimates which will differ by how far you live from the business premises in Northampton varying from as little as £15 - £20 and above. It may also differ in matters such as difficulty to reach places in your home during fitting (more time needed to achieve the job).
3. Products, once fitted are non-returnable due to the fact they cannot be sold on forth to a new customer and will be deemed your responsibility in which case any loss or damage to the products shall be then at your own risk. There will be a 2 week after-sale period, for any product excluding a water filter (this has a lifetime warranty - delivery and fitting charges will still be applied), where if any product fitted does incur a fault that is not deliberate, then a free replacement will be supplied, however we will charge a delivery and fitting cost in order to cover our time/effort and fuel cost. Such a case or period does not exist if you are a Pre-Payment customer where any accidental/unavoidable problems/faults are covered by the scheme and will be repaired/replaced at no extra cost.
4. If an appointment is made for a certain date and time, and you are not around when we arrive at that time and place, we may charge a small fee to cover fuel costs as we achieved our obligation to deliver, especially in cases where you live a fair distance from the premises.
5. The price you pay for any product is the price displayed on this website at the time you send your request for an order apart from the following exception:
There may be an event where errors may occur on the page. If such an even occurs in the price of products that have been requested to order, then we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price.
6. All prices are shown in £s sterling. All delivery and fitting charges are separate from the main price and are usually shown below them. In any event that they are included in one price then it will be stated on the webpage it concerns.
7. You may not assign or sub-contract any of your rights or obligations under these terms and conditions or any related order for products to any third party unless agreed upon in writing by Northampton Water Company.
8. If any portion of these terms and conditions is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or part, the validity/enforceability of the other parts of these terms and conditions shall not be affected.
9. These terms and conditions supersede all prior representations/understandings and agreements between you and N.W.C relating to the use of this website and sets forth the entire agreement and the understanding between you and N.W.C for your use of this website.
